Dispositivo para aleitamento materno: um estímulo ao vínculo mãe e filho

Abstract

Several factors can cause contraindication for breastfeeding, causing negative consequences both physiological and psychological, evidenced by the absence of a humanized alternative for women. Thus, a Breastfeeding Device was born, an innovative product being used on the mother's breast through a support, allowing the baby to be fed without having contact with the breast. The general objective of this work is to develop a device that is similar to breastfeeding, when mothers are unable to breastfeed, allowing them to breastfeed their child without having contact with their breast. The method of this work was divided into 4 stages: initial design, informational design, conceptual design and final design. Through these steps it was possible to identify the important factors essential for the development of this device. Using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) software, a prototype was built to carry out the validation tests, configuring the final project. It was possible to obtain a device that allows mothers to breastfeed their children, even if they do not have contact with their breasts.
